Why does it say MSNttf started this thread on the new posts tab? if you click on it it's just Jimmy ?

I don't have my FSM handy, but there is a cable (big honkin' plastic connector) that connects to the shifter right next to the cable that goes to the trans that will not let it out of park unless the brake is applied. I'd start looking there to see if it has a problem or is disconnected...

I don't know exactly how the thing works, but I've had a similar problem and that was the culprit.

HMMMMM.

I was just replying to dudes post,dunno why it didn't show.

I would prolly just go ahead and slowly OD on heroin if I couldn't figure outwhy my shifter wasn't working.

Don't think it would take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. :dizzy:
