4l80E 6.0 liter build/question

I am not sure if this goes into this section, but here are a few questions, and the situation. I was in the process of building a 88 s-15 6.0 liter truck (2wd). I have always been a fan of the Syclone, and want to purchase one. I found an article about the AWD s10 that chevy built in 93 that used a LT1. This truck is on another thread. So, I had an idea to use this truck to make a Sy-clone.
Last week, I got an agreement to purchase an entire syclone frame (with front/rear diffs, and everything but body). I have searched this site, and found a few guys running V8's and a couple running 6 liters. Here is my question. The 6.0 liter comes with a 4L80E, which a lot of Syclone guys are running for an upgrade. I know that the motor needs to have a modified pan and other little items so it will fit, but for the tranny, what is needed for it to adapt to the transfer case? OR can I get an AWD transfer case from a Escalade and utilize that?
Any help would be great. Also will the front diff handle that torque and power? It seems like it should, but I want to make sure.
Thanks

George (link above) is who you need, but this is what costs on the whole conversion. Don't use the other guys (PATC'S) 4l80e swap kit unless you like snapped output shafts

As an aside, how do you luck up and find a sy roller chassis? :dunno: I looked for awhile and couldn't locate what I wanted (clean chassis w/o body so I could create a second-gen Sy-clone). I gave up and am now trying to purchase a real Sy.

As for newer transfer cases that might work IIRC the Silverado SS uses a NV149 and another guy took a NV246 (regular 4x4 case), stripped out the 4low stuff and kept 4hi.

Best of luck

All you have to do on the 4472 is swap the input shaft. A lot easier than stripping a whole case out. I did this with the 4472 after it showed it could take low 8s all day long. NVG taking the 8's?

Sy and Ty use BW4472 AWD transfer case.
The Sy's had the 27 spline OUTPUT shaft.
The Ty's had the 32 spline OUTPUT shaft.
Both had a 27 spline FEMALE input shaft to accept the 27 spline OUTPUT shaft of the 700r4.
If you don't have a transfer case yet, find a 1992 to 1998 oldsmobile bravada and get the 32 spline transfer case out of it. It'll have the more desireable 32 spline output shaft.
And when you get it, KEEP the transfer case ADAPTOR that's on it. They will have to unbolt it from the BACK of the 4l60e. You need the adaptor that has 4 bolt holes on the transfer case end. Some later models had the 6 bolt hole model. That won't do you any good.
