aligning front bumper, time ?

why do so many typhoons have misaligned fronts.

what is involved and how much time to correct. do i need shims

No shims at all. Just braces,brackets,nuts and bolts.How long does it take? depends on lots of thigs. How good your eye is to make it look right is the hard part. THey can be made to look right if you spend the right amount of time on them.

most time people are missing 1 or 2 of the i think 4 brackets that do the adjustments. 1 on each corner and the 2 that go to the ic holes.

so im guessing its just bending these brackets to suit. same thing with my xtreme.

no bending! just loosen, adjust, tighten. Depends how small of a gap you want between the bumper and side cladding, i had to do some grinding to allow mine to slide far enough back for my liking, but just making it straight doesnt require mods.

Factory option. If you ordered a Typhoon, you got misaligned bumpers for free! :lol: :tup:
