Difference beteween Sy & Ty O.E.M. Wheels??

Ok this may be common knowledge but I had not heard of till now. What (if any) is the difference beeween Sy & TY O.E.M. factory wheels??? I was told the offset is different?
How do I check my wheels to tell what I have if there is a difference (not mounted on the truck and no tires on the wheels), measurment... PN# on the wheel?

the offset is different between the front and rears and it should say inside the rim which one it is.
As far as I know the only difference between sy and ty specific is the gmc is colored red on the syclones

Ok, yea I know the offset is different front to rear but I just had a guy tell me the his Sy wheels won't fit my Ty due to the Sy vs. Ty specfic offset?? I think he is dazed and or confused cause I have never heard of that buuuut..........????

no worries, sy/ty wheels are perfectly interchangeable.

Offsets are the same for both trucks. But I do think there's another difference. I'm not totally sure, though. But for some reason, on one of my rear wheels, the wheel is powdercoated silver between the spokes, as the other three are unpainted. You can't really notice the difference unless you actually look. I have yet to figure out why their like that.
