Can a Typhoon be used as an Everyday Car?

Please help me I'm about to go and view a couple of Typhoons in the UK but before I do I need to ask 1 question: Can I use a Typhoon as an everyday car or are they too unreliable or fragile? Please reply ASAP as the money is burning a hole in my pants. :cheers:

yes...if you treat it fine and keep up to date on maintenance.

Launch it from every stop and always keep it floored....no.

Its gonna be tougher to get parts in the UK as well so figure if you do break something you are looking at down time.

Probably less reliable than any other 14-15 year old truck.
Get yourself a daily beater and save the SyTy for fun sundays.

I daily drove mine for 2-1/2 years and it never left me stranded. The only reason I'm not daily driving it now is I have another car and am slowly giving the Ty some TLC. It is 15 years old now. :tup:

I ran my Ty as my daily for about 2 yrs and then I blew the motor. But it was abused early in its life before I got it.

I drive mine everyday 12 months a year. Sure, it breaks down - it's inevitable. Just keep an inventory of used parts - anything you can get - for emergencies. At least you won't be completely down until you can get a new part - especially in your case living in the UK.
