Can someone take a peek at my datamaster files (pics added)

Ok I finally got some datamaster log. Still having some problems with the connection by getting a 'ECM Recycling connection' or something similar to that occasionally.

The Ty is running pretty rough but luckily there is no knock according to datamaster. Mods are listed in my sig and Im using an ultimate 50lb chip.

I only ran about 1/2 throttle max as when boost reached ~6psi the truck would want to cut off.

also here is the truck at start up/idle. If i don't keep my throttle down just a bit it seems to die as well, problem with the alternator?

I plan on ordering wideband in the near future but in the mean time is there anything noticeable of what could be causing the truck to run rough and cut off?

Re: Can someone take a peek at my datamaster files

has a esc failure code and o2 due to the data error, check ecm grounds and seating of the chip, what setting is the ult on? the egr is turning on/off also. a wideband would be nice to see the afr's, whats it doing when it cuts out? just sputters?
that data error kinda throws a lot off, check connections and mess with the aldl timing to maybe get it better
your knock count registered and then went to 0, it should stay registered in the knock count, but they are data errors, like in frame 475, so dont worry bout that

spark advance is going down fine with boost,

try messing with getting rid of data error, and maybe use a hammer by the knock sensor idling to make sure that is in working order.

it takes troubleshooting and patinece

the ultimate is on T1 15 setting, when it cuts off the truck sputters and the rpm's drop.

I read a lot of people need to run a new ground for the aldl so I'll look around and make sure all the connections are good

whats esc failure?

Re: Can someone take a peek at my datamaster files

esc is eletronic spark control, its the part of your stock chip that is white and overlaps the other chip on it, if that makes sense, so check chip connnections or broken pins, also could be related to ign module, but i doubt it.

I switched back to a 2bar map sensor and chip with stock FP and have since cured my 3bar stutter. I think something was wrong with my 3bar map. Something to check out.

Major bigtime running out of fuel. It's knocking, the reason you're not seeing any is because of your ESC error.

Check to see that the memcal that you're plugging into the ultimate board is good, and oriented the right way. Also check that the pins on the ultimate board aren't broken. They're notorious for this.

Don't go into boost until you get this fixed... good way to kill a motor.

Re: Can someone take a peek at my datamaster files

anyone got a pic or the correct way the ultimate chip is positioned on the ECM?

I remember back when I 1st installed it I had the chip flipped from where it is right now and the engine would not turn over.

pulled out the ultimate and took some pics:

you can see in this pic the wire leading to the key turn is broke, I know this would not let me switch settings but would it cause any other problems? I'll solder it tomorrow.

It's (the memcal) backwards. White part of the memcal goes to the pins.

Wire would only affect which positions you could/couldn't get to. It locks the ultimate to whatever position it was last in.

Further, this is likely the cause of your fuel issue... had to be in limp-home mode with that prom config.

thanks for the help Dig and nallj92, I'll flip the memcal so the epoxy side is over the pins and install it tomorrow morning
