Hi all, my Syclone's steering is too loose. What do you recommend?

Thanks!

I do have a new pitman and idler arm going in this week (that should help a bit). Anyone selling polygraphite bushings?

Besides all of this stuff:

Edelbrock Tie Rod Sleeves: EDL-5252 $33.88 (pair)
2 Moog tie rod inner: MOG-ES2072RLT $57.39 (each)
2 Moog Tie Rod Outter: MOG-ES2249RLT $40.39 (each)
1 Moog Idler Arm: MOG-6251T $44.39 (each)
1 Moog Pitman Arm: MOG-K6339 $42.39 (each)
2 Moog Ball Joint Upper: MOG-K5289 $50.99 (each)
2 Moog Ball Joint Lower: MOG-K5320 $52.39 (each)

This totals to $522.98

I'd look at replacing the A frame bushings and the sway bar bushings. I used the poly stuff with graphite but new rubber ones will be OK.

It will improve your ride. Really.

Good luck.

Thansk all, great recommendations. How hard is all this stuff to install (sans the tie rod and pitman arm)? Anyone have the part number for the bushing kits?

Thanks,

After reading the s-series posts I would agree and first start with the upgraded shaft (the jeep ones) and the zq8 box.

Let me know if you want to do this because I have both sitting on the shelf and I am in the middle of moving. Would rather sell the stuff than move it... (sorry for the sales pitch...)

Strangely a smaller steering wheel made the most difference for me.

If your steering wheel has a lot of lateral play there are also 4 torx-head bolts that hold the column together that like to back themselves out over time. There's a decent write-up around here on how to fix it.

No lateral play but thank you!
