Hi all,just joined and need some help getting used to site. I am sure I will get used to the format but this site is really awkward for me at first. If possible,I need to change the color scheme as most of what I look at is really hard to see. For instance the dark green print against the black backgound is a real strain on the eyes. I looked around for a place to change colors but failed. Is there a place to do this? TIA

Maybe it's your computer? There are no black backgrounds with green writing that I can find. Go to the bottom left of the site..scroll all the way down...you will see a box with a drag down. It will say one of the below in it. Open that up and you will see:
--Classic SyTy.net
--91 Syclone
--92 Typhoon
--93 Typhoon
Those are the color combo options!!! If you're getting green, you might have to adjust your monitor.

That's it,finally got the screen right.Thanks for the help.The one that works best for me is the last however 92 Ty is good also. Man you guys would have to see that black screen with dark green letters to know how bad it was. Now I can get to finding out what are the best mods and mod order for my Syclone.

Here's some real good info for newer peeps that Dave is working on. It should help answer or lead you in the direction of some basic stuff.

Just been on the site a few minutes and already started picking up much needed knowledge.Will check the suggested location. Also my early digging came up with something called code 59-if I understand this correctly,it is too cool. Is there an upcoming class that new learners can monitor? What I need right away is probably some basic info on the system used on our trucks so I can better understand some of the tech talk that floats around here.My Syclone is a very original(only mods seems to be msd plug wires, and elimination of abs by me)37k truck in nice condition. john

Two problems with pics: first I really have trouble finding things on this site,and have not found the place to add attachments-a little help? second,I live in the NM mountains and right now we are pretty well snowed in. It won't last that long but I never take my Syclone out of the garage in nasty weather.I do have one shot I took with my friend next to the Sy that I could post if I figure out how.john

You can't post attatchments until you donate money to the sight and they upgrade your status. Or you go to hosting site, get a account, and post from there.
