This one is supposed to be reliable... my Ty gives me more trouble than I need. It's going to get a mildly built 4.3 vortec ... with individual coils of course :lol:

Late update, but the truck is sold... picked it up last weekend for those of you that missed my other thread. The motor is definitely toast, but hopefully it will be back on the road before the end of the year :tup:

Nope, this one is staying 4.3 right now. The initial plan is a resto with "engine improvement". looking for a nice even 300hp on 87 :tup:
