An eventful morning for sure

I took the wife to work this morning after some breakfast at the golden arches, big spender I know. After dropping her off I see guy up ahead haulin nalls and caught up with him. It was a 90's Audi Quattro with turbo. We raced from a roll and I was pulling on him a little. We pretty much raced through slow light traffic for about 2 miles. Then to my surprise a WRX comes out of nowhere from behind us. He had a carbon fiber hood, deck blah blah. All three of us went from a 40 roll and it was pretty close between me and hte WRX and at about 70 he started to pull away. The Audi was still about a car or two back but was starting to catch up. We never caught a light but fun nonethe less. The Audi turned off and I kept on with the WRX. We still didnt catch a light and I had to turn off. On the way back to my house I saw a red mid 90's Z28. We ran em from about a 35 roll and I left him good. Shut it down at about 70 due to upcoming traffic. He pulled up next to me and gave me a big smile and a thumbs up. The car was kinda beat up so it may not have been performing well.

Ya, you'd destroy an LT-1. They can be quick when done right though. Easiest way to tell on the WRX's how much stuff they've done, look for a fmic. Without a frontmount they lose a lot of power, and the stock trannies can't hold anything over 350awhp and even then you're on borrowed time. Thats a 12 second scoobie though.

He did have a front mount. Im sure he a bit done cause Ive raced stock WRX's that got blown away. He was doing well I thought. As for LT1's being fast IF done right, so can TY's
