hey guys i just got my first SY  !!!!
and now i need to get familiar with it!!! here is a link to the ebay auction that will describe it better. so now that i have it its running very rich. the guy was worried about blowing the motor so he said" i had it tuned this way for saftey" since he blew the first motor.

Sooooo i wondering if anyone here or if there is a shop around these parts that can help me tune this bad boy. I'm not to familliar with the FAST engine management and need to do some reading. Thanx any info can help.

Where in AZ are you located?

I'm in Scottsdale, and I've tuned Sys using FAST... If you're anywhere close I'd like to take a look at it to see what I can do. To get it really dialed in you're going to need to set up some dyno time or pick a day that you can take it to the track for some passes.

If you're down south in Tucson or something, then I know a friend that is a really good FAST tuner as well.

Let me know.

EDIT: You might want to go ahead and get yourself a front mount A2A intercooler since it's coming to AZ. The stock heat exchanger is totally worthless here. You'll get a lot more power out of it with that. Also, did the guy mention how the first motor gernaded? If he leaned it out too much and blew a headgasket then it's one thing, but I've had a lot of experience with built stock blocks (I've destroyed two). They don't seem to like much over 500-600 HP, at least for very long...

Well im new to these trucks and its got the FAST system in it. so someone that has experience with that as well as an ear to help me tune this this. i think a plug or 2 is bad and its runs really rich. but maybe thats why it smells that way cuz no spark  . but any info would help.

Definitely talk to MadPSI then, he's dealt with FAST on another local's truck.

If I remember correctly, they had some issues and found that there was a grounding problem that cleared up a bit of problems. :2cents:
