But if this is going to be a bitter event, then I'll just cancel my reservation, keep the truck at home, and forget I was ever thinking of going.
I say we don't accept lafinbully's registration, don't let them race, and be worse assholes to them then they have been to us.Loeryder said:Don't even sweat these guys browbeating you.
If the truck passed certification in Europe there should be no reason it wont pass here.
I have a feeling this is one of your "competitors" trying to steal a win by default. :rotf:
GawDamn shame one bad apple has to ruin it for the bunch.

blah, blah, blah, blah......
Oh yeah? By who? It certainly wasnt by anyone of any importance around here, so please do take your high and mighty attitude elsewhere because you are obviously doing nothing but stirring up bullshit.lafinrat said:I have been asked to pass some pertinent info to the participants of the SyTy Nats.
Is that a fact? Are you in charge of this event? Are you employed by KCIR? If not, I suggest you shut your mouth already.During this event, regardless of what has been said on the internet, all NHRA safety rules and requirements will be followed. Nobody will get around the rules regardless of how far they have traveled, how much money they have spent, or what they told everyone was going to happen.
see my previous comment. It certainly would not be fair if someone was allowed to operate outside the standards set forth by the governing body, the NHRA, because of poor planning or personal circumstances. Under no conditions is a European chassis tag, or driver's license accepted at an NHRA track--not at an official event, or a private function. Any person, from any place on earth is more than welcome to have an enjoyable, safe experience at an NHRA track, within the rules set forth by said association.
see my previous comment. It would only take one car, one mishap, and one lawsuit for people to start losing their jobs. With this is mind, the possibility of a waiver that would disregard the rules, and possibly bring discredit upon the NHRA, a track, or an employee of either entity, is impossible. If such a waiver is in existence, its validity is moot.
Just think how much bandwidth we'd save if you were unable to post your worthless bullshit that everyone is already well aware of.Just think how much faster we could all go if we didn't have to spend thousands of dollars and countless man hours on safety equipment.
Nobody has any questions, this event is 9 years old already, 7 of which have been spent racing at KCIR. The Nats Staff as well as those participating are well aware of what we can and cannot do.Any further questions can be directed toward head tech inspector Ken Booher at KCIR 816-358-6700, or Division 5 Director and KCIR owner, Rob Park 816-795-8055.
