where do you keep finding these? surfing the net? going to junk yards? I'm interested in where these keep popping up in the junk yards.

I'd like to see the site that has the pic up of it. Its a little more dismantled than when I had it but not much.

Hmm, thanks Jimmy. I know the yard its at, its pretty close to me. I wonder if I know the guy that posted that thread. I was told the truck was going to be crushed but obviously that hasn't happened yet. Glad someone got the rear end and front diff out of it though. I tried gettin the front diff out (took all the half shaft bolts out) but couldn't figure out how to unbolt the diff. (didn't spend too much time on it either) Funny to see it out there though!

The truck never ran as pictured...maybe about 5 miles it idled lumpily for while being towed. It was parted out / almost completely stripped...and i bought the shell, took a couple parts from it and sold it to sy-1177. It underwent some surgery after that.

Thanks for the clarification

Are those sportsmachines dates correct?

Doesn't seem like a '92 would be built on 11/7/92.

The '93's would have been out already - yes/no?

can't believe with all the mods it had it was parted out, looked like a descent truck with lots of potential

looks / pictures can be deceiving. It was a electrical nightmare / hack job...and was slapped together blindly for the most part. The owner was seemingly just throwing the thing together assuming it'd just figure itself out...and there was no real plan. Dollars over sense. Inexperience and no helpful friends. That and he'd come from the mustang world...and retired from the ty failure back into a mustang as far as i recall.

my SoGT #0380 was built 11/08/91  but I :dunno:. I know most vehicles are built a few months in advance & released a little ahead of their actual sales date to dealers.
