Id not feel very comfortable at 600 hp on one 255 pump. 500hp be my limit on a boosted application.

Output depends on the FP its see at its peak, the higher the Fuel pressure the volume a walbro (and pretty much any pump) Off the top of my head a Walbro will do 800hp at 40psi, but at 90-100psi its only about 400hp. IMO at 500rwhp, I would start think about something besides a basic walbro and hotwire. (boost pump/ or dual pump or even different pumps.)

But why are there people out there running 10.5's with 1 Warlbro 255 no boost A pump or racetronix harness?? that is what I can't figger out.

yep the walboro is rated to 600 HP in non forced induction application, sump the tank and run a external 500-600 is alot cheaper than another motor

Took it for A ride today. Was at 50 psi. until like 10 pounds of boost then the fuel psi dropped back down to 50 and stayed there. PUMP ??

400 to 500 hp forced inducted mustangs run all day long with a single walbro and inline boost pump although they tend to lean the cars out a good bit more then we do with our trucks

you should have 1 pound fuel pressure per 1 psi of boost over your baseline fuel pressure. so say your base is 42 and your boost at 20, you should have 62psi of fuel pressure. You probably know that already. As mentioned before, pump is going or possible line issue limiting supply volume. Are you using stock fuel lines? what kind of fuel pressure regulator are you using? may check line to FP regulator for leaks under pressure. my 1 cents with economy and all

checked everything from front to rear. not 100% sure what kind of fuel pressure reg. it is. but it is working fine. checked it yesterday.
