3-4 planetary I broke 3 behind a stock 4.3

3-4 clutch is weak, sprag is weak, 2-4 band is weak reaction shell is weak(I dont htink it is as bad in the older 700r4). forward clutch is ok if the right clutches are used

I havent seen a broke planetary yet but I will have 1/2 ton trucks all day with burnt 3-4 clutches broken bands flipped sprags

sprag is a like a one way roller clutch it is just made a diffrently

I would agree with the sprag failure... I've seen lots of these.
And, burned 2-4 bands.

I haven't seen a whole lot of planetary failures on the SyTy spec trans.

There are a lot of Achilles' heels in the thing...
