Who rebuilds turbo's and dosen't rape the customer,

I have an ol Richard Chan Turbo that I need rebuilt but I'm tired of people telling me that it gong to cost 400+to put a couple bearings, seals and to balance it. I was thinking I could just send it back to Chan but I don't have any info on him any more. Anybody know of some one in the department?

There is a guy over on coloradoracing.net that does them out of his house......I heard he does great work.

400Sounds about right. A lot of people will charge 250 just for balancing. Parts kits usually go for 100-300.

I saw a rebuild kit for 80.00 not a problem.I have a problem paying some one 250.00 to blow air through a turbo and using a die grinder to shave off metal off the nut. Really is that worth 250. 00 cause maybe I should go into biz for myself..This turbo lasted 8,000 miles before it blew oil through it. Doesn't seem like it's rocket science. I'm no turbo expert maybe someone could shed some light on this.
Ryan,what this guys name who dose turbo's out of his garage?
