Aluminum rad suppport FS **** SOLD ****

I have an aluminum rad support that I bought from a board member. It is one that CKeith had made. Comes with both fiberglass headlight bucket supports. I thought that I was going to put this on my truck, but I can see that it is not going to happen. $275.00 + freight. This thing is light, but it is big so shipping may be kinda pricy. I will be able to deliver to KC area next 2 weekends if that would help. Could also get it to eastern Colorado the weekend after Labor Day.

Did you not see Kings truck at Nats? He had one, thats why the hood flew off on the way there.

Whoever buys this thing, have all the welds checked or redone, cause CKEITH's welds are junk, otherwise make sure your glass deductible is low. :2cents:

Yea, as per King's experience, I'd either run hood pins or have the latch area reworked to make it much stronger.

Any pics of this? I just installed one of these supports and would like to see exactly where it broke. It does seam like it has alittle bend to it under preasure.

you know where the hood latch tab is?? picture that RIPPED OFF and your hood smashed up in your face! :tup: :lol:

These were copied off mine which was made by PEP. On my site there are pics of the PEP one and if you compare the hood latch welds they are much different. These do not have as much welded area as the PEP. Just saying that was the difference I noticed right off the bat.

The entire flat plate he cut and welded on for the hood latch broke off on mine clean at the weld .If i was driving it would have been going 70mph , imagine that behind the wheel ...

Other than that i like it and does save some weight . Doing my a/a was super easy with all the extra room .

Lower intake SOLD

If it helps I bought mine for $400, $275 sounds like a steal... Just reinforce the hood latch.
