Tricks to Installing ATR/Conley Upper Intercooler?

I tried to install the ATR/Conley larger upper intercooler once several years ago and failed. It refused to fit. Any tricks or pics? Do I reuse the stock brackets? Do I need to fabricate some type of bracket to secure the front of it?

well its so tight if you take it out crooked it will crack your heater core fiberglass cover

so

use the one bolt that makes it rest up against the ac compressor to hold it in place
and some cut to length inter cooler hose with really good clamps and you should be fine

most ppl dont use brackets. it's only got the provisions to use the center one anyway.

I put mine in with the TB hose on the TB first & the turbo to IC hardpipe is clamped to the IC.
Put the silicone connector on the turbo.
Then angle it so that the bottom of the intercooler outlet goes into the hose on the TB.
Don't worry about the top of the hose folding under cause you're gonna use a small screwdriver to pull it out.
Wiggle it into the TB hose. Then lower the IC pipe into the silicone connector on the turbo.

Ten years? Wow, has it been that long? I'm still around and slowly getting back into SyTy. Anyhow, it would be great if I can snuggle this intercooler in. I'll give it another shot (after I get it chrome plated).
