that sux man. been there done that with somebody else. it really isn't fun. and i know the feeling. you primed the engine i geuss? and there are many things that you ask to your self that you did this and that.i always know i did the right thing. but it feels being ****ed in the a-hole when you get the..Tempered with the engine or something like that.

Thanks everyone for the support. Oh one more quote I received from my builder last night I forgot to mention.After many text's and frustration he said he felt sorry for me because he knows its going to cost me another 2K to get it fixed. This was after I told him he would not be touching my motor again.

Sorry that the asshole builder did not care about your harderned money, nor about his own reputation.
Thives like that should be exposed for the skum they are ,and banised from this great community!!!
I myself had runnings with people/shops here like that, had some people bash me for exposing them for the crap and thives that they are. Everyone NEEDS to know about your good and bad experiences so that we can kick these assholes out and bring honest good people/shops in !!!

Wow, really sad to hear about that Jamie.... things like that shouldn't happen, especially from someone supposedly experienced with these motors. Not getting the coated pistons and bearings, when you paid for them, really can't be excused. The bearings look like someone didn't use bottle brushes on the galleys and left a bunch of crud in the engine... I'd sure cut the oil filter open and see what the hell is in it (take pictures).

I agree 100% dude. I mean everyone will have their own personal success stories as well as their own horror stories.
It would not be a bad idea to set up a forum for that purpose. The only problem is that everyone and their mother likes to comment on a particular issue while they were not involved in the transaction or even done business with that vendor before.
If there was a way to make a sub forum, where only post are by people with DIRECT experiences then great idea.
Otherwise it turns into a popularity contest and a pissing match.

There are different settings for # of posts per page so you cant really go by 3rd page 6th post. For me its 1st page 36th post.
