Just came back from the track . Had 2 Good licks since I don’t have a roll cage . Truck went 6.29 at 111mph with a warning to slow down and then I sent it with 30psi and a 14psi launch and it went 6.09 at 112.5 with a 1.39 60ft. Track was really good , Da was really good . About 400 over sea level on the last pass and 200 under sea level on the 6.29 pass . Found out my 7.5 limited slip is no good as I was doing a 1 wheel burnout . Still hooked and went 1.44 and then 1.39 60ft . On the last pass my pin on hood flew off. That wasn’t fun . Only changes from my personal best of 6.39 was the 58mm throttle body, ported downpipe head unit , JSM upper and lower control arms , and a pin on hood . Truck was about 100lbs lighter then before.

Thank you sir . L35 heads and 415 cam. Soon to be Vortec heads and bullet custom cam. 30psi on a 6466. Track prep was the best I’ve seen.

Sy644 . Luckily the hood had just some scratches in the front . It survived. I actually buffed it out and went to a car meet today . Can’t really tell unless you look closely . I think I didn’t check the latches and the corner right front was not latched. I had just pulled it off to give the rod another 2 turns and I guess I didn’t check it . I installed 2 more that I had today just to make sure. But it did bend the front pin which leaves me to believe it was latched. I should of just went with hood pins but the quick latch look cleaner .

Mike,
Really nice laps and I am Happy for you. Jerry and I was in the shop building an exhaust system and were waiting for your updates. Watch the engine RPM next week but if you do the math you should have a pretty good time slip. GOOD JOB!!!!!!!
