Wheel Balance?

i get a slight shudder in my wheel when i hit highway speeds (110 km/h) and it gets worse as the speed increases. I had my wheels re-machined because they were damaged and its the first few drives with them....im wondering if maybe wheel alignment and wheel balance will fix it?

Very possible, it couldn't hurt to have them rebalanced.

Alignment being out wont case a vibration, but it wouldn't hurt to have checked anyway. Most places will check it for you for free anyway and only charge if it needs adjusted.

This hasn't been mentioned lately, but the stock wheels are sensitive to a good balance. Try to go a shop with a Hunter balance machine and ask to use high tolerance. Also the rear tire need the right type of adpater because they have such a deep offset.

The stock wheels are a serious PITA to mount on a balancer straight. You can't just slap it on and zip it down like most wheels. You have to support the weight of the wheel as your tightening it down for an even clamp onto the balancer. Just make sure whoever's balancing them knows what the hell their doing.
