Hi All,

Looking for idea's. I want to see what people are doing in with twin turbo's in cars trucks or even the northstar sand rails.

heck if you find anything else that you think is cool post the pic i would lokve to see it.

well, I don't know how relevant this is, seeing as how is a diesel engine, but it is turboed, and i thought it was cool. :)

Saw this at the Cummins Truck fest last summer at bandimiere speedway. It's a Tri-turbo diesel motor. If I remember correctly, they were sort of sequential; the first turbo was used to spool the other two, but I could be way off on that. I can't really remember. anyway, here's the pic:

Nice turbo Pontiac small block. Not sure of the mtotr specifications but it is expected to put out around 2000hp. Aluminum block and heads.

not to mention the fact it can go from 70mph to 135mph on the freeway in 1.9seconds. who said supras were the king of the roll race?

Was that car in Hot Rod 6 months ago or something? I remember seeing a twin turbo car that was SWEET, had a fold out and everything.

That car has been in Hot Rod, car craft and Turbo magazines from what I nkow. I believe it's a 1962 Chevy Biscayne renamed Chicayne. Nice car, puts out like 1200hp or something. That 8 turbo set up deal looks like a waste of money. Kind of like that guys 3 turbo supra that makes only like 600. Similar supras with twin turbos of the same specs actually make more power. Ill go find the pic.

Just a tri turbo supra. Only puts out 600hp. If it were mine, I'd convert it to single and actually make some power. I guess it's money that counts though.

on one of the dodge boards there was a 1 ton dually with a tri-T setup, and a 75shot and some propane. they were saying like 100+ #'s of boost would get them 1000+ hp and 2000+ ft#'s

the first 9sec dually would be cool.

Yeah i agree like i said early it is a big waste of money but it is cool to see at someone elses expense.

Typo? I don't believe that at all. A doubling of speed (starting at 70mph) in under 2 seconds? C'mon...
