There isn't one. The replacement part that supercededs the old number is about 2 feet too short and has the wrong end on it.

Re: tv cable part #

I just recently had my dealership to a nationwide search and supposedly there were only 3 of the oem pieces left. I went ahead and bought one.....and they made it sound like I'd have to go to a universal one after this one went bad.

Blake....do you have any leads on replacements?

I have a used one in good condition. they are no longer available thru the dealers unless you get the 1 or 2 that are still out there. you will need to make one up and lokar has some nice cables to do it.

I found an aftermarket TV cable thats just as long as the stocker (maybe a tad longer) and the adjustment/lock assembly is engineered better than the stocker, which makes it easier to adjust and lock.

Here's a few pics of the cable that's on my truck.
I may be able to get a few of these if anyone is interested....

I can get those. They are 52" long. The stock TV cable is 56" long. It takes some rerouting but they can be made to work.

OK. Talked to a few places and a new cable just came out that is 72" long and has an end on it like the one in the above pics. Let me get one and see if it behaves correctly and I'll stock them if it works. It's gotta be special ordered. If it's right, I'll order 20 or 30 of them so we get a discount and I'll cut a break on here if I can. Something I'd strongly recommend is crimping a ferrule on the cable up against that brass sleeve once you get it set right. That way, the screw doesn't let the cable slip.

The one I'm using is about 57-58' long (notice the extra cable for adjustment) and it came with the ferrule and the brass sleeve-in pic.
Let me know if you need the part number George?

Yeah. Shoot it to me. I'll compare it to the other one I've got for the 72" cable. These shouldn't be all that expensive.
