what type of tranny fluid does anyone recommend?

It depends on the condition of your tranny. This is what I recommend.

Stock tranny <good shape> Mobil 1 and a couple of quarts of Type F.

Stock tranny <condition unknown> Mobil 1 and 1 bottle of LubeGuard

Rebuilt <build unknown> Mobil 1 and bottle of Lubeguard

Rebuilt <Nice high performance rebuild done right> Type F with Lubeguard

Race Rebuild and race duty. Redline ATF and Lubeguard.

I use dex3 and lubeguard.

The lubeguard might be hard to come by. I found it at napa, for around $11 after tax.

Unfortunately they don't have Mobile 1 ATF here in Germany, not even on the military bases. The only thing I can find is normal Mobile ATF some other generic crap.

I have switched to B&M trick shift fluid completely...feels smooth...any feedback?
