someone did this to their typhoon and it looked rather bad ass. You'll have to cut the fender cladding and also figure out how to mount it to the new "hood". Theres also the issue have to relocate all the things stuck to the fenders already (coolant resvore, abs, washer tank, etc)

It's a pretty involved mod. Wheel wells, core support, bumper, all that has to be re-engineered. Not impossible but probably not for the faint of heart.

Often done on drag cars/trucks where all that stuff is eliminated. Makes workin' on it much easier. Makes a sweet mod.

not real common for tilt front anymore, most drag race guys just make the front entirely removable. its much lighter that way and yields ever better access beyond the tilt option

I'd settle for a tilting hood like the buick lesabre for shows. Would hate to work on stuff located in front of engine though.
