8) Sweet, they look better than mine, but im still learning how to work my new camera, i am probably only 34% knowledgeable as of now, lol.

I would like to give a special thanks to Ray and his family for coming out, it was very nice to meet them (they drove 70 miles for the meet not bad for a new guy, jp). Also i would like to add that when my TB to IC pipe blew off, Ray decieded to flip a bitch and come back to see what was wrong and ensure that i was okay/able to leave, he sat there for 10+ minutes outside in the cold with me while i fixed it, etc, Thanks again.

I am still contomplating the next location and am very unsure as of right now. I want to say LB or somewhere south, but i am not sure if thats far enough? (Scott?) Any restraunts you know of with a nice parking lot, good food, atmosphere yada yada?

Send me one or two of your pictures to check what I can do. Mine were also dark but some careful tweaking made the trick.

nice pics matt. thanks for posting them. I haven't looked at my pictures yet... too lazy yesterday. i might have to photo shop mine as well. i was struggling with my camera that night.

as for the next location, scott and i have a particular place in mind in Brea. we wanna try and suck out Lou and his marlboro (hmm, that kinda sounds sick). i'm gonna drive by this place in brea and see if the lot is meet worthy; in the next few days. we'll see and then it'll be up to you all.

Recommendation for a Future Meeting Place

Recommendation for a Future Meeting Place

Great meeting in January

Very impressed with the caliber of people and vehicles that braved the friggin cold and made the valley appearance

I want to thank Adam & everyone else that helped in making the meeting a reality

I belong to several clubs (SoCal Lightning Owners Club / Buick Grand National Racing Association) and I constantly see the trouble it is to find a date / time for members to get together and share stories, advice, lies, good food and lots of beverages

Someone is always in the middle of repairs, working, out of the area, bad time of the month, etc

I don't go to these events hoping for large crowds, I go even if it's just 1 other person

Enthusiasm is contagious, and anyone that owns a SyTy is either enthusiastic as hell, or pissed off as hell, and either one feeds the common grounds that we meet for anyway. I loved my Syclone, and I love the Typhoon. I look forward to the advice and recommendations from all the owners who have been there before me and hopefully i can pass off this info (whether good or bad) to other members or new members who are lucky enough to own one of the fastest & rarest trucks & SUV's ever made

The is a great meeting place down in Long Beach. The Lightning Owners Club has had over 27 Lightnings together there at one time and the food is great, the atmosphere is great, and parking was outstanding

Acapulco Restaurant in Long Beach
6270 E. Pacific Coast Highway
Long Beach, CA 90803
(562) 596-3371

Some of the best pictures taken of the lightning club were at this location

There is a back row of parking right next to the greenbelt that runs parallel to PCH that can hold 40 plus vehicles

It is in the back of the parking lot, away from the other stores / restaurant and is perfect for the gathering of lots of vehicles together

We always had our meetings on a Saturday / Sunday around 1:00 or 2:00 in the afternoon

The restaurant would open the upstairs bar area just for our group, and the view overlooking the harbor was great

Keep it in mind

I'm looking forward to the next get together, and I apoligize about not getting my pictures out yet..........

Later

Ray
