So you want to race for CASH???

For those of you who don't want to risk breaking your SyTy at the track racing for nothing but bragging rights, hopefully this will make you all very happy!

We are pleased to announce CASH prizes for all SyTy racing classes!

Now, before you ask "How much can I win?"
Well that is gonna be up to YOU and the community as a whole.

The SyTy Nationals is a small event entirely privately funded.
We do not have a large financial operations overhead or enough SyTy vendors willing to put forth cash on the line to make the event happen, so we are opening a funding pool for Cash Pot Racing.

Private individuals have come forward and offered to donate their own cash to see SyTys race for more than bragging rights and a cool trophy. A few vendors have considered participating in the event but they want to see the people committing to be there.

Well this is your chance to SHOW THEM!

100% of the donations will be put towards the cash prizes.
All donations will be put into one pool for the Cash Pot and racing class payouts will be figured as follows:

  • Stock – 10% of the collected cash pot prize money
  • Stock Turbo – 10% of the collected cash pot prize money
  • Super Stock – 20% of the collected cash pot prize money
  • Modified – 25% of the collected cash pot prize money
  • Pro – 35% of the collected cash pot prize money

Donations for the cash pot can paypal to cashpot@sytynationals.com.
This will flag those donations for us and keep them in a safe place until Nationals.

Mail orders &/or Checks (made payable to Brian Dourty NOT SyTy Nationals) can be snail mailed to:
SyTy Nationals
c/o Brian Dourty
PO Box 564
Columbia, MO 65205-0564

We already have one private individual pledging to donate $500 of his own money as well as each staff member donating out of their pockets.
We will have an updated listing of how much has been donated and what the payout will be once the ball gets rolling.

Keep in mind if you are donating, all of these donations are class payouts and do not fund the operational cost of Nats.
If you'd like to contribute to the operating costs of the event, REGISTER, and if you still have more to give please email info@sytynationals.com and we'll tell you how to go about it.
There are some folks that do not attend the event but pay the full registration cost just to get a T-shirt and put some money towards the event.
Without generous people of this nature Nationals would cease to exist.

Re: So you want to race for CASH???

There were only 3 donations to the Cash Pot.
Ryan Raketich, Gabe Estrada and myself were the only 3 people to put money out of their own pockets into the pot.
Between 3 of us there was a $700 kitty.

McCoy donated $500 worth of gift certs which we handed out to first place only making the total payout $225 for first and $50 for second.

I finished 2nd in Super Stock and gave my $50 back to the cash pot to race again for next year.
Although I would like to see some more donations to up the payouts.
