just nice to talk to a SRT-10 owner at a car show last Sat who knew what a Sy was, complimented me on the truck and as we chatted we both agreed... I win from the line and he wins from a roll. Parted friends.

That is a first. How did you talk him in to that? You must be one silver tongue devil. :rotf:

Re: Nothing special,

I had this exact conversation with an SRT-10 owner earlier this year. He knew what a Syclone was (turbo V6), but when he heard it was AWD, he said "Psssht! You got me at the line...I can't get this thing to hook."

500hp to the rear wheels of a pick-up truck tends to have that effect.

Re: Nothing special,

Interesting that this thread came up......Hardman, Myself, and Jeremy ran into an SRT-10 on the highway on the way home from Nats. Several races from 85-90mph roll. He took Hardmans truck a couple of times, but Jeremy was able to hang with him on one of them (we think he might not have downshifted).

Also got the thumbs up from him when he was exiting......Perhaps we are "known" by the SRT guys?!?!

2 things, I was wearing my Syclone T (black = hot when outside in the sun) and the first question I asked was how well does it hook. He said it doesn't but you do (referring to the Sy). After that it was easy, we both knew what the other could and couldn't do. It got better when we tried to explain our trucks to some others.
