need help

well yesterday i installed my ultimate chip, 3 bar map sensor, and a set of plugs gaped at .35. now im getting a check engine light that comes on for a few minutes then shuts off, for a few mile then back on for longer. i tried the paper clip trick and its either flashing a 12 or 21, anyone got any ideas?
i have datamaster but for some reason it wont work.

DTC 12 will flash 3 times when you enter the diagnostic mode. It will then flash your trouble code(s) 3 times (in this case 21, if you read it right) Once all codes are read it will flash DTC 12 again.

4.3L TURBO (VIN Z) SYCLONE AND TYPHOON (PORT)

Circuit Description:
The Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) provides a voltage signal that changes relative to the throttle valve. Signal voltage will vary from less than 1.0 volt at idle to about 4.6 volts at wide open throttle (WOT). The TPS signal is one of the most important inputs used by the ECM for fuel control and for many of the ECM controlled outputs.

How long after the installation or test drive did it flash? I've had two TPS's just fail at random after a chip modification. After i replaced it with a known good TPS the problem was solved. Hint Hint, buy a new TPS sensor.

yeah it was with in like 10 min. of driving right after the install. well i guess i'll just buy a new one to be sure
how much are they?

well on lunch at work i did the paper clip trick and this time i got a 43 i think it was, it was for the oxygen sensor. and i dont know if its bad but i forgot the paper clip in there all afternoon then when i got in i forgot it was in there still and started the truck, it ran with it in for about 10 seconds. is that bad? could it have hurt anything? cause on the way home the check engine light came on.
