i had water come in through were the roof rack (ghetto) is. I'm taking it off soon, so i'm guess there will be a large rust (no...not on a GM) hole up there.

Just somethin to check.

dont you hate that shit...lol

1titety, you might wanna check the weather stripping around the rear window.it could be all chewed up and not sealing right.

on the rear, run your finger inbetween the weatherstrip. dirt usually gets in there and doesn't make a good seal. as for the front, the windshield is put in with urethane. this stuff is tough! if your leaking there is is from rust or the truck has been hit.

My Jimmy used to always leak in the rear glass, and drain out of the wiper motor cover. I did as parts man did and it fixed it. I was geting ready to buy new weather stripping too.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but what was the fix for this? Anyone knows?

Re: LEAKING TRUCK WHEN RAINING

My fix was to get a piece of flat rubber and cut it in a circle to match the mounting point of the glass in side that wiper box. Put one on the outside and one on the inside. Seems to have worked.

Mine was leaking too. I bought a new piece of weatherstripping. It goes all the way around the opening. When I replaced it I had to remove the window struts but she's dry now:D
