iPod Direct hook-up

In my Ty, I have a Pioneer headunit model DEH-P77DH and wanted to hook-up my iPod to it. I have a Monster iCarPlay for my DD and it sounds crappy to be honest. Not that much bang for my buck, sounds really low, even though my DD has a stock system. So I bought the Pioneer CD-IB100, which makes my Pioneer headunit control my iPod, all I have to say is F***in' WOW. Strong, Loud and Powerful. So if you have the chance to purchase a 'direct' hook-up like this, do it! It puts those wireless ones to shame.

Yeah, I have a wireless radio tuner one for my iPOD Shuffle. It sucks....terrible quality ect. I was disappointed.

2 places,..you can try and wait for eBay and maybe catch one there, but I bought mine from Zeb.com, it was $91 or so with shipping.

Wow I thought this was going to talk about how shitty the pioneer IPOD interface is. I've had atleast 2-3 people return the Pioneer unit for the alipine unit, and move on to an alpine H/U in the last month. Not over sound quality, but at how the interface was slow and hard to use. Both the Alpine and Pioneer units retail at 100$ where I work.

Clarion has a new head unit that supports Ipod interface (cable sold seperately) It's on my list of things to get, the interface is cool because it is touch screen and the controls on the screen are just like a real ipod.

A little steep in price... ranging from 850 to 1300 for online pricing. The cable for the ipod is another 80 bucks. But seems like a real slick setup. Will block center vents when installed in a SyTy.
