I'm bored, so I figured I would do a write up on how to embed YouTube videos for those who may still be having trouble with it.
STEP 1 : Find the URL for the YouTube video you would like to embed. It can be found in multiple locations,
two common locations have been highlighted in yellow below. Copy either URL from that page.
STEP 2 : Paste the URL you just copied into the message block for your new thread or post.
STEP 3: Delete everything except the video code found at the end of the URL, as shown below.
STEP 4: Highlight the video code you just edited.
STEP 5: With the code highlighted, click the YouTube Button above the text block to wrap the YouTube tags around the code.
STEP 6: Click Submit New Thread at the bottom of the page and your new video should be posted.
If it does not work, check to make sure the video code is correct and includes all characters.
Note that some videos may not allow embedding, you may just have to post the complete URL as a link in those cases.
