I just signed up as well. I'll have to get a hold of steve and see if he is up to go, I think he'll probably go.

I usually bring my video camera so there should be some type of video available.

Do we know first names of the GN guys we will be with? I usually race with them cause of the rarity of our vehicles. Hopefully its Dick and Nick and some of the other 8-9 sec GNs.

I did the index too. I think I ended up being about a 29, that's on the high-end. Didn't know my race weight, I'm damn close to 3700 lbs. And you still might get some random women in the video with Brandon, but it'll be a good vid :rock: .

Here is an update that I just got this morning and here is who the GM team
has on the list to run in January. They are still looking for two more vehicles.
I about feel over when I saw this list. Look at the PI index numbers on those GN cars. OH MY GOSH!
This program does not typically attract that level of car on the first event of the year. I'm not sure what the Mopar and Ford teams are going to do in response. Shoud be interesting. By the way, it looks like there will be at least one race between one of your Ty and an SRT-4.

In your match you are competing to get 6 points for your team that night in your match/race.
You get 3 points for the win light.
2points for the best reaction time.
1 point for participatation ( you got a time slip basically)

Just found out that my index number was wrong. It should be a 26 instead of a 29, found out my weight is over 3700lbs :-? . I didn't think the Sy's were that heavy, but I guess I was wrong. When do we find out who we run against? I was just looking at the HTR forum and noticed you were saying Cyclone .

Jokr, Sorry about the typo. I'm working with only a hand full of brain cells and some of those are retarded

Pairings won't start until late December. What is going on now is getting all of the vehicles on the table that are willing and able to race that date. The final matches will be made from those vehicles. The GN's and Syclones on that list are pretty much a sure thing unless there is a major uneven match problem.

I thought I saw something about 2 of the GN's not being able to make it (One guy owned them both though) on the HTR forum. Are we gonna be running the Dakota's and that 1 SRT-4? what does that guy run? Is he the guy that runs low 12's? Doesn't matter to me, just letting ya know about the spelling, it seems like you're extremely busy organizing. I was browsing through your forum. What's a ballpark number for the performance index the Dakota's are putting out?

I haven't seen Dick's new car run, should be pretty insane.

Hey, my truck is running well. I figure I'm gonna do the TCC lockup mod and maybe try to shed some weight for the race. Other than that, I'm not sure what else I can do.

And yes, I recently let the woman go, so I have all my weekends back for myself now. It's great!! :rock:

Ok, two of the three truck matches have been posted. You guys are gonna be famous

It looks like Ben is racing a 2000 Lightning with vehicle number of F95 (PI#26). This should be a really good match up.
Dan is racing an SRT-4 (PI#33). Unless the SRT-4 just can't drive or get traction then Dan is gonna have a real tough match. The only other Mopars available for this match had even higher PI#'s.


Robbie's match backed out. It was a Ford LX that had a PI number of 21. He had never heard of a Typhoon and it made him nervous I think
Anyway, we should have a sub posted next week for Robbie's match.

Also, Dan is racing an SRT-4 that has a Performance Index # of 33. That could be a quick car with a number that high but what makes it tough to tell is that the Performance index was never intended for small motor cars and we don't know if it is good indicator of potential for those small motor cars. I think a stock SRT-4 scores about a 24-26. His car number is M63 so you can go to the site and look up his vehicle specs if interested.

Also, you guys can switch your 3 trucks around however you wish. If someone else wants to trade with Dan and be the sacrifical lamb to run the SRT-4 just let me know. I'm sure everyone will be ok with it. This is all pretty laid back stuff. It'll be a blast regardless.
