just wanted to say sorry to those that we were in communication with about KC this year. we told several people that we were gonna be there and planned up until the last min that we were still goin.

the tuesday b4 the nats we were at memphis doin our final testing and tweeking of the truck and pretty much melted our converter and fried the reverse and high gear clutches in the 400. the pump was also messed up. thats too bad bc the truck was runnin really good. we pulled the tranny out gonna have a quick fix thursday when we found out the converter was shot too. so we tried to repair everything but we didnt get to it till thursday mornin. anyway we'll post sum video and time slips on our website here n the next couple of days for everybody to see. sorry again no one was more disappointed than us! too bad we missed out, looked like the Nats were a lot of fun!!

we're not sure what happened? we took it apart and look through it but not thouroughly. we're gonna take it to our transmission man and let him tell us. he definately knows more than we do. i do know our tranny fluid came out black and was dripping off the dipstick like water. we'll find out in a couple of days....

what is the next race at beech bend? that would be cool to meet you up there!

by the way i saw who won the each class but is there a place where the ETs and mphs are listed? thanx

Matt.....She did tear it up. She cut a 1.68 60" once! If she didnt red light she wouldve given the guys a run for thier money!

oh joe but i do! i do know slicks tend to break parts! the transfer case is our weak link rite now, especially the output shafts

thanx everybody! we were really disappointed that we broke so close to the Nats. dad worked about 6 months straight on the truck finishin all the odds-n-ends tryin to make it.

allen dudley out of huntsville has been helpin dad and i learn more about the fast system. he is unbelieveable, has the largest knowledge base of tuning and twerking performance vehicles of anyone ive ever seen! i guess when u have a turbo mustang run 7.51@190, a lil V6 isnt much of a challenge! he really took an interest in the truck though and nice is a super guy! anyway, we're gonna have her ready here b4 long and take er back to memphis and see what she'll do! im lookin forward to a full pass with the slicks! should be fun!

hey matt if your having trouble with the output shaft on your truck might wanna think about a ty xcase as it has a larger output shaft and spline count and could help with whatever your breaking.

you would also need to swap the yoke on the front of your rear driveshaft but dimension wise it's all the same.

PS. I have a spare ty case and yoke I could send if you wanna try it. that is if your not already running a ty case.

Sorry to hear about the luck Matt, Glad to see you are making enough hp to stress a TH400. Thats gonna be moving if you can get it all together for a coupla passes.. And as always..

Actually, now that I think about it, your truck has to be the ONLY truck I am aware of that has been down longer than mine.. However, if memory serves me correctly, I think I did see a pass or two at the CHITOWN NATS in 2002, so dunno if total down time is longer, or just the frequency

And since my truck wasnt running at the Chitown Nats, I guess that makes me king of the dead trucks

Hehehe, just poking a little fun at you Ryan, BG said the new engine management is coming along alot better than FAST was right ?? Thats good news.. Any ETA ? ??

I am still praying for end of this season for mine to run. Time will tell

driveshaft but dimension wise it's all the same.

Well almost.

The ty case is just a tad longer, around 1". Depending on driveline length, might need to shorten it a bit.

But John is right, the ty case has a bigger output shaft than the syclone.
