fuel pump

uhhh.... yeah....
my fuel pump went out on the way to hp motorsport(local speed shop). so i just ordered the racetronix kit :cool: is the kit easy to install? ive done fuel pumps but is there anything different or anything i need to look out for?
any tips are appreaciated

# 1 TIP.... Rinse the gas tank out well to make sure all rust / sediment is removed before installing the new pump. Keep the pump's inlet and outlet protected from dirt until the rubber hose and filter sock are installed. Be safe.. have fun.

easiest install ever. if you have a syclone, TAKE THE BED OFF THE TRUCK. it's a billion times easier to replace the fuel pump that way. if you have a Typhoon, you're gonna have to deal with dropping the tank.

Exactly if you have a Sy take the bed off! Its the only way IMO if you get a few people to help move the bed then your in good shape there are only 6 bolts to drop the bed off. Once the bed is off you won't have any trouble getting to the tank and it makes dealing with those rusty lines a hell of a lot easier.
