No. Been in there for awhile. Worked before.Bad sending unit? Has that been replaced recently?
If I can when I get home I can take a picture of the the fuel level sensor thats attached to the fuel sending assembly. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Potentiometers? Our fuel level sensor works similar to a potentiometer. There is a wiper that runs over the resistance wire, that then takes the position of the wiper placement on the resistance wire to measure the relative amount of fuel in the tank. If the wiper blade on your fuel assembly is weak or broken, it often measures the fuel amount lower or higher, than it actually is. When I removed my OEM/old assembly from the fuel tank, mine was super weak and brittle. So if you replaced the Fuel sending assembly I'd assume that's not your problem in this case.No. Been in there for awhile. Worked before.
Put fuel in the truck and gauge went all the way full. I'm not sure if it's even anywhere near full. Just kind of a concern if I got for a quick spin.
Not sure if it's grounding related, or just Kaputt.
I replaced the fuel pump 10 years ago +- and added a hotwire in between the years. I had some issues early on with stuff not really grounding out well and being intermittent. I had the tank out many times because of the wire issues with racetronix kit. I believe it was a ground lug I didn't put on specifically for the hotwire, and now I'm suspecting the gray/purple wire arent they in correlation with the sending unit. I can't see the unit inside tank being bad, unless it's stuck or jammed? How's that even possible.
