i dn't think these would be very good in a turbo motor. being for a 6" rod they would probably have a short compression height

Not true according according to my engine builder Tony Hewes at Hewes Performance and machine. He said these pistons are perfectly suitable for turbocharged applications since they have the rings moved down and the piston domes are thicker as well.
