I think that the leafs are stronger on the Blazers so you don't get as much drop.

yes but the truck will not be any lower than it currently is the extreme or zq8 springs are within 1/2 an inch of the stock sy/ty springs

Yes, I buy the exact same parts as you guys. a 98+ 4WD Blazer(NOT ZR2s, they have a diff frame) or S-10 should have indentical springs front and rear(dimension-wise)
yep, I put 3" drop leafs on and it went to about 1" below stock height. you'll probably be taking a trip to the local auto parts store for lowering blocks.

Well it depends on how heavy your rig is and how stiff the springs are, and partly the corner heights too. I've always needed blocks with my 3" drop springs belltech and flex-a-form, except for when I had my 31s on there a few years back. When i switched to normal size 29" tires on vette rims, it left a pretty big wheel gap. The only way I will eventually be able to get my weight balanced right and the corners all the same height is with roughly 3.5" of block on top of my flex-a-form 3" drop spring.
Do you have the front at the height you want and what are you using?

I have yet to do anything with the front or back. I am gonna be getting tires for my C6's in the srping and know I want to drop it a little to close the gap. So I figured I founf thise setup for $150 off a 98 blazer its 3in leafs and front pork chops. Though that was a good price?

not bad with the drop keys too.
I'd just say throw the parts on and see what happens, because adding blocks isnt hard, you don't even have to take the wheels off if you don't want to. Then you can measure what extra drop you need if any, and get the appropriate block. personally I'd go with the JTR steel blocks, www.jags that run.com, and then you can get the setback plates and pinion angle shims if it needs it

I've snapped off quite a few belltech lowering block tabs on the top but I doubt many people push their sy/tys or blazer as hard as I do around corners, I really need a link setup.
JTR is only about an hour away from where I live, too bad they don't have a shop.

right but they have Grade 8 steel bolts, that's probably what I was thinking of.
