Re: can someone look at this for me

I was looking at that ty earlier tonight. The guy says he has a replacment for the rr clading. I would "buy it now" if I didn't have to ship it. That is the lowest I've seen one that isn't just a pile of broken parts.

Re: can someone look at this for me

I looked at this truck, we are in new england and his description on ebay is accurate, there is no rust or rot on the body at all, all that pic shows is the factory coating flaking off the frame and light surface rust starting. all the other trucks around here are rotted and the underside is all scale rust and they still ask 5k plus for them! maybe he should have said rot instead of rust. i dont know where in the country you are from but around here that is nothing to worry about. I was going to buy it but the buyer of my camaro bailed so now i cant. that green theft recovery truck just sold for 2500 on ebay and it was strictly a parts car in a million pieces that didnt run!! for another 1500 you could have a decent truck you can drive! funny market we are currently in. somebody by my camaro so i can buy this one!!

The way you seem to promote this truck makes me think you're the current owner/seller

http://www.syty.net/forums/showthread.php?t=90164

And the fact that you asked about passenger side rear corner cladding before this truck was on the market.

Re: can someone look at this for me

If the seller were trying to deceive folks, he/she would not have posted those pics of the underside of the truck. Clearly he/she is referring to body rust and not surface rust on the frame. For $4250, someone would be buying a nice platform. It might need some TLC but the price is more than fair IMO.

Disclaimer: I do NOT own this truck nor do I have any idea of who is selling it.

Im pretty sure you are correct because all 4 of his posts are about this truck. Here as well: http://www.syty.net/forums/showthread.php?t=90179

I get promoting your sale just don't talk about it like your a 3rd party and lie about wanting it.

Re: can someone look at this for me

The only reason the frame rusted is because some rocket scientist scraped the "goop" off it.

Does anyone know what that shit is? How it was applied? It's pretty thick and greasy.

I don't understand why they didn't just use the powdercoat or whatever is on the A arms.

That shit is nice.

Re: can someone look at this for me

damn that truck needs doors and if it needs doors then it'll most certainly have rust behind the cladding in the front fenders... prob still decent price if you can score sheet metal at a good price and can paint the thing yourself
