Now, does anybody (*cough*DaveP*cough*) have a good way to split the firewall grommet in order to be able to remove wires without having to clip them?
I was thinking of cutting it with a razor and then using RTV to goop it back together when I'm done. What I want to do is remove the A/C & EGR wiring from the loom since I don't use them, but I don't want to clip the wires. I'd rather hide the wires in case I make a mistake and remove something I shouldn't. I'm not that good with wiring.
I was thinking of running some stuff inside the cab, but not sure I'm going to do that. Now I just need to clean all the connectors and wiring, then I can start the removal.

When I cut that grommet, I pulled it taught and used a knife to cut it as close as possible down the moulding line as I could. Quite fiddly job. Not sure there are many other ways to cut it in half.

Connects to a matching connector in the front lamp harness. Contains circuits for the ABS.
blk/wht 450 = ecm ground at rear of LH head.
Purple 420 = brake switch. 12V with brake pedal released, 0V with brakes applied.
White 852. = ANTILOCK light in cluster

purple : 420-0.6
white : 852-0.6
