Any Suzuki M109R owners out there?

Looking at few advertised on CL but wanted to see if any owners wanted too share their experiences? I have read good reviews and sat on them at the dealership so I like the riding position, just wanted to get an educated opinion of someone who "lived" with or rode with someone who had one.

I've been looking at those bikes also, I might get one on my birthday for my wife. I've talked to a friend that had one and he said he liked it. It was fast and powerful but got uncomfortable on long rides. He's currently on a month long ride from Florida to Alaska so I didn't pay much attention to that because a long ride to him means a LOOONG ride.
Whats making you look at this bike vs the others out there? I like the big FAT tire in back.

I like the overal look of them, including the big tire but I wanted something with some straight line speed/power. I recently had a Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom which was a good bike but not a lot of power. I liked the ride and feel but I have had crotch rockets in the past and having that extra power/handling makes the ride that much more fun. Sold it to make a little profit so it served its purpose. From the sounds of it and the feel of the 109, I think this would be a good fit. I have also looked at the VROD but I prefer the 109, just preference I guess.
Still looking... if anyone stumbles on a nice one let me know.

Well I went and sat on one and I think i changed my mind. I don't think i'm tall enough for the bike. If it ever starts to go over on the right i'm done. The exhaust pipe will fry my leg if i try and put it on the ground.

Put the bike or your leg on the ground? It's not a dirt bike. You may burn your leg, and break it. Back to the thread...I Iike the looks of this bike....but have never ridden one.
