That's the same kit I bought from AutoZone. Works great!

That kit really does work well! Thanks again for the help with the boost controller!

Re: Alt. Bracket Question

I hasn't got my tools yet from summit but I was looking at the power steering pulley and is there a 9mm hex bolt that you have to remove first? Its very bably corroded so I cant really tell. I've got the rad and IC still in place so I didnt get that good look actually.

Just wanted to check with you guys that have pulled the PWS pulley before.

Re: Alt. Bracket Question

I hope Boostedpimp doesnt mind that I borrowed his picture.

Is the 9mm hex the pump axel?

Re: Alt. Bracket Question

Great :)

Thanks Robert

To me it looks like its a strange and quite over done solution for this pulley. I wunder why they didnt go with a splined / square axel and a lock bolt/nut. I guess there an explanation.

Re: Alt. Bracket Question

if you ditch that black bracket on the back of the PS pump, the removal won't be nearly as difficult next time. Hopefully for you there won't be a next time, but for me there were about 5 and counting
