im still shooting for that 11 second pass this year, the 12.1 was with the 60e.

winter plans include, a 2114 converted intake, a 7268 turbo, and a much larger intercooler.
oh! and an 8.5 rearend, the 7.5 wont last with the 60 foots the truck will probably make with the new converter and trans. looking for low 11's high 10's next year i hope.

Your running higher compression balance shaft block/ported vortecs like I am. Its looks like from your link that your running 17-18psi to run your 12.1 @ 115.

yes, and you can see the turbo is starting to blow hot air in the ve table. the numbers begin to drop at around 12lbs. hence the much larger turbo and intercooler next year.

60' was a 1.85 on that pass as well.

Cool truck. Do you have pics of the engine build?

When you ditch the balance shaft, how do you close the hole in the front of the block? You're still using a balance shaft cam and timing set, correct?

i have this picture. i dont have many of the actual engine assembly, i was focusing more on putting it together then taking pictures. i didnt plug the front hole, only the rear. there is an oil feed there, and all i did was chop off the back half of the shaft and put some right stuff on it and popped it in. i still use the bs cam, and i cut down the gear and used it more as a spacer. timing set is a cloyes single roller billet, im not sure if its bs specific or not.
