Does the 502 have the extra bolt hole at the top? I know the 4L80E from 2000 and up have the extra hole at the top in the form of an ear that comes up off the bellhousing. Mine had to be cut off to keep from pinching the wiring harness in the Ty. Sawzall makes it an easy job. :tup:
