Re: Vibration only in 4th gear Update...The timing was off a lil so i timed it and well the truck ran ALOT better but the vibration is still there. It actually calmed down alot to where its not annoying so as long as there is no problems then im just gonna live with it.

Re: Vibration only in 4th gear I unlocked the tc in 4th and the vibration did stop. So im guessing everything is ok?...I did a couple runs @ 42-44 mph and a couple @ 50-55. All times the vibration stopped.

Re: Vibration only in 4th gear Yea it's a transmission vibration only in 4th gear. It doesn't matter what speed im at. Once the trans engages into 4th, the vibration occurs. If I drive with OD OFF the vibration is gone. George Blake- I'll try unlocking the tc in 4th and let you guys know...

I recently installed a rebuilt trans ( trangso shiftkit, vett servos, bw clutches, etc...) w/ a yank 3600 tc and now it vibrates only in 4th gear. TV is adjusted, no loose connections, drive/prop shaft are installed properly, everything seems tight. The trans is a lil overfilled but im not...

Re: Yank tc install Q Yup ive done all of that....After i did all that, i tried to just mount the tc to the fly to see if the pilot will seat....and no cigar....i'll post pics in a lil bit of the the yank and the stocky tc to show where i think the problem is.
