Which cam would run better with the Ult 50? the 412? Also on the converter issue, do you run a 'regular' 12" 2800 Stall or is there a turbo app. I need to look for? TIA John

Mileage is not really a concern, I have 2 other vehicles for that, I just dont want to launch at every light. The motor will have the .412 Cam, I have a set if L35's that are ported, polished w/a 3 angle valve job. still not sure on the turbo(suggestions are welcome), 3" exhaust, and most likely the Ultimate 50. It will be a daily driver so I want some driveability, but will also see some track time...

Sorry about that. I just bought a 93 Ty motor to go in my bravada. I will swap the heads over before I put the Ty engine in. John

First off, thanks for the info you guys got me on the Ty, the engine and guage cluster is on it way to my house as we speak. Is $1100 a bad price for a COMPLETE(Wiring harness & computer) Ty motor and Guage cluster delivered?? I didnt think so. 8) Ty powered Bravada coming soon. John

Will the 94 CPI heads bolt up to the Sy/Ty intake without modding them, the reason being I have a set of CPI heads on the Bravada now that are Ported & Polished w/ a 3 angle job. I was wondering if it was a direct swap or if I have to get them redrilled & sealed. Thanks, John

Have you checked your dash grounds? There should be 2on the drives side, if one comes loose, it can cause guages to go haywire. John

They are also using 6" rods to get the stroker effect.
