Re: overboosting What size turbo would you suggest? Everything to deal with the turbo is stock (turbo and wastegate). So it sounds like you think it might have something to do with the vaccum. It should not overboost with the stock wastegate correct?

I am having a problem with my Syclone overboosting. I changed the intake to a stock one that is ported and polished, I also changed the heads to a set of vortex ported and polished with a comp cams cam (422). I have the stock turbo with and adjustable fuel pressure regulator, 60 pound injectors...

Does anybody know where to buy a wastegate for the stock turbo? THANKS

Re: overboosting I have the stock ecm right now with kenne bell chip I know this chip is junk plan on getting another but boost was fine until I changed the heads and cam. What is the best way to control boost? Manual control valve any good? What could be causing this overboost?

Since I installed a set of vortec heads (ported and polished) and new cam (comp cams 422) My turbo has started overboosting to 25 pounds of boost. What could be the cause of this. Truck runs fine except for that. It has the stock turbo for now I will be replacing this in the future.
