The 97 - 98 Vettes had 345hp vs the newest ones at 350hp. The Z06 started with 385hp and now has 405hp. My 2002 has that number right on the fender.

Scoobygang, I've been asked before to do something like that for other people. The thing with me is if I have time I would do it. I wouldn't even charge you. Just food and supplies. Like I said I don't do this for a living, What I do do for a living pays me very well so I don't need extra money...
The gas tank on the 4 doors is the same as the Ty. I lowered my tank 3 inches to mount my metal tray there. The tank was visable from behind and that bug the hell out of me so I got a custom gas tank made that mounts under the driver side seating. It's a smaller 16 gallon tank but that doesn't...
Mine started last year and I can't seem to get rid of it. I tried tape around the striker but that just makes it go away till the tape wears through. Anyone have a more permanent solution.

Thanks for the compliments. I've been installing and competing in IASCA since the beginning. I retired from competition back in 95 but am still very involved in car stereo. I don't do it for a living (There is no money in it). The boxes are made MDF and fiberglass. On the four doors Blazers they...
I have tonnes of pics. The entire install is done by me and I took pics alone the way. I have an identical box on the other side. The rear speakers are for the rear channels in the 5.1 surround sound. I also have another amp in the tailgate that runs the center channel. That one I don't show...
If you want them I will let them go for $100, but to be honest... They are not very good. Very light plastic and they stick out into the foot well area big time. That is the reason I took them out and made my own. Let me know if you like them.

Here is the link to the Q-forms. They have a 5 1/2" speaker in them but cutting a bigger hole isn't a problem.

The Ty has stiffer torsion bars than the reg 4x4s. As for lowering of the 4x4. Go with the Belltech kit and keep the stock torion bars. I lowered mine that way and it rides great. I replace my torsion bar to the Ty bars later on and the difference is not that noticable. Not worth the trouble of...
I have a custom hitch that is behind my plate. Totally invisable when plate is up. Unfortanely no one makes a behind the plate hitch for Blazer/Jimmy/Typhoons. Those have frames that are a little bit longer at the back then the pick ups. You will have to go custom to do it. I will try to take...
