Re: 3000 stall converter?? Yea, i have a 6265 but didn't want to install it yet. But I am swapping the transmission here soon, so I thought I go ahead and install the converter at the same time. But, looks like I should just wait. Thanks for the input guys.

Hi guys, hoping someone can give me some good info. I am wondering if a 3000 stall p.i. converter will benefit my stock turbo ty, or will it hurt my performance until I upgrade the turbo. I've read that the ideal stall speed for stock turbo is around a 2800...just wanting to run a better 1/8th...
