I was on the road to lsx swap and Im wanting to use a newer 04 syle 4l60e 4x4 or 2wd will everything work the same way on the rear of the trans,.im guessing if its a 2wd I will just have to cut shaft down? and reuse my old TC adapter to trans?

Re: LSx SyTy Swap Information I have a very stout 700r4 and don't want to swap to 80e and all the things that need to be done. cant I just buy crank spacer and kickdown cable bracket and mount it to a ls engine? do I need a special flexplate from a certain year truck 2wd or 4wd?
